Our project was complex, given we remained open during the full-scale renovation. Marie was very thoughtful and knowledgeable about how this would work and had extremely detailed and efficient plans in place to coordinate the construction in phases. With her extensive experience, she knew exactly what this project entailed from start to finish. Her attention to detail is truly impressive. Early in the design process, Marie took the time to speak with and receive notes from every one of our team members, so as to make sure all the needs of each specific area of the clinic were met.

Marie was extremely well-prepared and seemed to know exactly what we needed, even before we did. We had free design offers from retail suppliers, but we felt there was much missing; our concerns were not addressed, and many details were simply glossed over by them.

We had heard many friends’ experiences with construction of dental offices, and it sounded awful. Our process was a breeze. Marie’s design was clear, and the contractors seemed able to implement them seamlessly. Her service was also exceptional during the construction phase, we rarely, if ever, had to wait more than an hour for an email reply, and never had difficulty getting her on the phone. Even now, 3 years later, we can email and she will reply immediately with the relevant information, which is so very helpful and appreciated.

Everyone is amazed with what she was able to do with the space, and we spent less than most of our friends who went with “free” design services. Seems improbable, but it’s true.

Marie handled every aspect of the new project, from design, to tendering, to the supervision of the build out of the leased space. She is experienced, offers suggestions, and is prompt in communication with emails and phone calls. She will make sure the client gets the best final “product”. She is responsive for follow-ups after the entire process and build out have been completed, which is important for future maintenance of the built-out space.

 It was clear from the beginning that Marie had a lot of experience and knew where the challenges were going to be with the specialized equipment we would need to have installed. She verbalized a vision so that it was easy for me to see, and she drove the project forward, managing the trades so I could continue working fulltime. While I have no desire to ever do another clinic build, I would work with Marie on any venture any time. She is one of the people who "gets it", doesn't waste needless time miring in the inconsequential, and just gets things done. Definitely the person you want in your toolbox for a big adventure!

I was a previous client of Marie’s, so it was a no-brainer to call her when I was looking to expand and redesign our optometry clinic. Marie did an amazing job of guiding four optometry doctors through the process of making the many decisions that come with an expansion and complete redesign, then through tendering and building.
